Hello, my name is Christi, I am the owner of Mending Hearts Wellness Center of Tennessee LLC. I was born and raised in Lake City, TN. I eventually moved to the South Knoxville area in 1995 after marrying my husband. We were not married long before our little family grew. The Lord blessed us with our wonderful daughter in 1997 and our amazing son in 2000. When my daughter was 2 years old, we moved to the Blount County area where we have lived for the last 24 years. 

For 20+ years, I worked as a mental health RN at 2 large mental health companies in the Knoxville area. During that time, I dreamed of earning my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license. In May of 2021, that dream became a reality! After graduating from Lincoln Memorial University with my master's degree in nursing, I obtained my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Certification and immediately opened my own faith-based practice, Mending Hearts Wellness Center of Tennessee LLC.

Currently, my time is spent balancing a career that I love and enjoying time with my family. With a full schedule. finding time for self-care is essential. For me, this includes spending time with my 2 dogs, my horse, and finding ways to thoroughly enjoy God's creation. I do this by going on nature walks, sitting in my porch swing to watch the birds, and going camping as often as possible.
